"Under The Moon"

Walking through a moonlit forest

Timid, yet fierce as a wolf

Chasing shadows

Gazing at ones reflection.

The night's moon

Loud, brilliant

Beams bursting outward

To the edge of the spectrum

Covering all encompassed.

Water rising

Ferocious in its calm

Tides stretching

Bending upward

Touching the forbidden light, united.

Wind, slowly dancing

Caressing the surging water

Sketching ripples

Ancient mysteries

Telling stories in the trees.

Spirits soaring, free,yet bound

Reluctant to return

Searching for exile

Hiding like an innocent child

It will end too soon

A world hidden under the moon.

I'm sure the cops will be thrilled and the store clerks... On the band Leverage....they're Finn's, there's a lot of good bands around the world, even if we can't understand a word of what they're saying, we can understand the music. :)

All so very true ms. I did a stint with the 3rd shift convenience store duties way back in the early 80's. It was always an eye opener for sure!! Don't forget to lock your doors and ignore the wolf scratching at your door. He'll go away in the morning!! :)
